Introducing Tamara Seligmann

Hi, I’m Tamara — founder of Inspired Dietetics and an Accredited Practising Dietitian. I'm aligned with the Health at Every Size (HAES) approach and practise food neutrality. I’m passionate about empowering individuals and families to make informed, confident nutrition choices that support their unique needs and values.

After taking time away for maternity and carer leave, I feel incredibly fortunate to have had that time to care for my daughter. During this period, my interest in childhood nutrition and education deepened. I became especially passionate about supporting parents through the often overwhelming process of introducing solids and encouraging food acceptance in children. As a result, I’ll soon be launching products and services designed to help parents approach this stage of life with clarity and confidence.

Alongside this new focus, I remain committed to advocating for participants on the NDIS and continue to support anyone seeking dietetic care.

When I’m not with clients or spending time with my daughter, I’m studying for a Master’s in Primary Education — another step in my journey toward supporting children and families.

In the little “downtime” I get (mum life!), I enjoy relaxing with my husband and daughter, and occasionally indulging in some creative craft projects.
